Venice is beautiful with its many canals, gondola’s and lovely Italian buildings ! But…. it’s also very very Touristic ! Which makes it hard to find real Italian spots. So I wrote a few down for you! Sirmione is on a peninsula at the southernmost point of the Gardalake. There is the beautiful Castello Rocca Scaligera to admire, which is over 800 years old! Orto san Giulio, lays on the Lago d’Orta and is a cute Italian car free village. Loved by many Italians who come to spend their day by the lake and everyone else who loves this. Bergamo , don’t just pass by..
Bergamo 40km from Milan, and a lot off you don’t know that it is definitely worth visiting this city! It is one of the oldest cities of Lombardy and you can see thing from the ancient Etruscan, Celtic and Roman culture. There has been a big wall around the city since the 15th century.
