Lombok is Incredible!! Still very much untouched and I truly hope it stays that way!! Its amazing to just take your scooter and drive thru the inland and past the coast. I loved to see that the people living here really try to build something for themselves. Build better houses, help in the village, try to get the children to school!
Just like its neighbour Islands it’s good for surf! And don’t worry even if you are a beginner there are great spots! Like Selong Belanak Beach! If you’re staying in Kuta it’ll be around a 40min drive by scooter. Kuta is a nice little city with a lot of restaurant, hotels and nightlife. Mawun beach is also on the road and very beautiful! Only take you own drinks and food cause there’s not much there. Have Fun!!
