Venice is beautiful with its many canals, gondola’s and lovely Italian buildings ! But…. it’s also very very Touristic ! Which makes it hard to find real Italian spots. So I wrote a few down for you!
Restaurants
- Antica Trattoria Ponte Vecie Poste Vecie
- Osteria al Bifora. Amazing meat platters! 🙂 is on ‘Campo Santa Margherita’ square !
- Osteria Enoteca ai Artisti. make a reservation! Ai Artisti
- Restaurant Covino, very good restaurant, but I suggest you try to take the second seating! The first one is very rushed and the owner does all of it alone! Covino
Pay note that when you visit the Dorsoduro area most restaurants close for noon at 14:30!
Aperitivo’s Panoteca’s
- Osteria ai Pugni , amazing place for small bites and they have a constantly evolving Wine list 🙂 Osteria ai pugni
- Snack & Bar da Piero. Wines, panini’s, super cute old place.
- Bar Rizzardini
- Estro, Have a wine or a Aperol Spritz on the terrace and enjoy the view of the square.
- Ostaria Dai Zemei
- And last but not least, the most awesome authentic wine bar with the most delicious Bacari is Cantina del Vino già Schiavi GO THERE!!

- Ponte dei pugni, Floating market .
- The Shops around Calle del Mandoler, you’ll see the most beautiful dresses and you can get your picture taken in one of them for only 30€ How cool is that!
