Orto san Giulio, lays on the Lago d’Orta and is a cute Italian car free village. Loved by many Italians who come to spend their day by the lake and everyone else who loves this. You can swim, rent a kayak, water bike and there is a pond going to the little island. Lovely for a day out. For a chick Aperitive you can go to the terrace by the lake of Hotel San Rocco
Nice dinner at the Restaurant Venus. On the terrace at the front and on the side there’s some food for everyone, but if you go through the building then there is another terrace by the lake side where they serve a good menu. After you can relax on one of the small beaches around San Giulio, by the village Pettenasco or in between my favorite Luci Sul Lago, they have sunbeds, a little kiosk and there is also one very nice Restaurant on the lake side. The toast with Anchovies and lavender butter is a heavenly combination!
